Junior App Developer (Google Play)

We are looking for a junior app developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our remote team. You will be responsible for building, testing, and publishing Android applications on the Google Play Store. If you have a solid understanding of the Android ecosystem and a track record of successful app launches, we'd like to hear from you.

Location: Remote (Pakistan-based preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Test applications on various devices and screen sizes to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Publish and update apps on the Google Play Store, including managing store listings and releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or discovered during testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and Google Play policies.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in Android app development.
  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
  • Solid understanding of the app development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
  • Proven experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred skills

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Knowledge of Material Design guidelines.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of app monetization and analytics integration.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for Android.
